Kuala Lumpur: Enra Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd, an indirect 70 percent-owned subsidiary of Enra Group Bhd, has entered into a technical collaboration agreement with Fincantieri S.p.A., a joint stock company based in Italy. This collaboration aims to enhance the support and supply of naval vessels, such as multi-role support ships and littoral mission ships.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the agreement was announced through a filing with Bursa Malaysia. The collaboration is not anticipated to have an immediate material financial impact on the earnings, net assets, or gearing of Enra Group for the financial year ending March 31, 2026. However, it is expected to positively influence Enra Group’s long-term strategic position in the maritime and defense industries.

Fincantieri S.p.A., headquartered in Trieste, Italy, is a prominent shipbuilding company. The partnership with Enra aims to leverage both entities’ expertise in naval projects, potentially opening up new opportunities in the defense and maritime sectors.
