The tour aims to educate micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and local contractors about business opportunities and facility management within the ECRL operational ecosystem. EOSB's CEO, Mohd Zaidi Sharif, emphasized the importance of local entrepreneurs and contractors in creating a robust and sustainable ECRL operational ecosystem.

The involvement of local entrepreneurs is expected to showcase the products and identities of the states along the ECRL alignment, enhance the passenger experience, and create new economic opportunities at the ECRL stations, ultimately benefiting the local community's socio-economy. The tour's launch was officiated by Mohd Zaidi at the main hall of the Marang District Council, Terengganu on Tuesday, and attracted 1,665 attendees for briefing sessions in Kelantan, Terengganu, and Pahang.
