Kuala Lampur:Eco Business Park VII hosted the second EcoWorld Connects: Business Ascend Forum, bringing together experienced speakers to discuss strategies for business growth.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the forum, themed "The Next Leap," featured speakers such as Timothy Tiah, CEO of Colony Coworking and Event Spaces; Datuk Dr Kamarul A Muhamed, Founder and CEO of Aerodyne Group; and Catherine Goh, CEO of Santan. The speakers shared insights on seizing opportunities that fueled their business growth, emphasizing the importance of a strong social media presence, effective problem-solving, and brand building.
EcoWorld Development Group Bhd's deputy CEO, Liew Tian Xiong, highlighted that EcoWorld Connects was founded on the principle that businesses thrive more effectively through collaboration. The positive response from the first forum encouraged the inclusion of leaders who have successfully taken significant steps in their business journeys.
The forum is part of EBP VII's ongoing initiatives to cultivate a vibrant business community within EcoWorld's integrated industrial hub, Malaysia Vision Valley 2.0 (MVV 2.0). It also launched the registration for the SME Core's second phase, after the first phase was fully subscribed.
Attendees engaged with exhibitors such as One Credit and participated in networking opportunities, concluding with a by-invitation luncheon. The event was attended by notable business figures including Datin Yap Shin Siang, CEO of YYC Group; Datuk Liew Bin, president of the Malaysia Retail Chain Association (MRCA); and Datuk Ho Kwee Hong, EcoWorld's chief development officer. EBP VII continues to position itself as a key location for business advancement within MVV 2.0, welcoming inquiries from companies seeking growth in the area.
