Kuala lumpur: Econpile Holdings Bhd has secured a RM48.8 million subcontract from Vestland Infra Sdn Bhd to undertake specialist bored pile and foundation works for a serviced apartment project in Kuala Lumpur. In a Bursa Malaysia filing today, Econpile stated that its wholly owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, received a letter of award (LoA) on June 25, 2026.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the project involves the construction of a 74-storey serviced apartment, which will include car parks, a basement, shop lots, and related facilities. The completion of the project is scheduled within 16 months from July 7, 2026, and is anticipated to positively impact the company's revenue and earnings from the financial year ending June 30, 2027, onwards.
Econpile noted that there are no foreseeable significant risks apart from operational risks associated with the project during the contract period. The management plans to implement control measures and operational procedures to mitigate the impact or likelihood of such events.
