Kelana jaya: Construction firm Econpile Holdings Bhd has secured a RM27 million contract for piling and pile cap works for two 37-storey serviced apartment blocks in Kelana Jaya, Selangor. In a filing with Bursa Malaysia today, the company said the contract was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary, Econpile (M) Sdn Bhd, by Bayu Melati Sdn Bhd.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the project is located at Lot 72699, Off Jalan SS8/6, and comprises 1,155 apartment units. It is scheduled for completion within 12 months from July 14, 2025. Econpile stated that the contract is expected to contribute positively to its revenue and earnings for the financial year ending June 30, 2026.
The company mentioned, ‘There are no foreseeable significant risks beyond the usual operational risks during the contract period,’ and added that mitigation measures would be in place to minimize potential impacts. Furthermore, Econpile confirmed that none of its directors, major shareholders, or connected persons have any interest in the project.
