Sydney: Duck Creek Technologies, the global provider defining the future of property and casualty (P and C) and general insurance, has announced a new strategic partnership with Capricorn Mutual, the insurance arm of one of Australia and New Zealand’s largest member-owned organisations, Capricorn.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Capricorn Mutual conducted a rigorous review and testing process of various solutions available in the market to ensure optimal member experiences and outcomes. Duck Creek Technologies emerged as the leading solution provider. Christian Erickson, Duck Creek General Manager of APAC, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, highlighting the opportunity to build deeper relationships with Capricorn Mutual members.

Capricorn Risk Services Chief Executive Officer, Rod Scanlon, emphasized the importance of technology as a key enabler of their business strategy and objectives. Duck Creek’s solutions will enhance automation capabilities, improve workflows, and integrate with other member benefits solutions.

Under the partnership, Capricorn Mutual will adopt Duck Creek’s full-suite of Software as a Service (SaaS) core insurance solutions, including Policy, Rating, Billing, Claims, and Clarity, delivered through the OnDemand cloud platform. This implementation will replace Capricorn Mutual’s legacy technology stack, enhancing coverage offerings and experiences for Capricorn’s 30,000 small and medium auto business members. The new system supports Capricorn Mutual’s strategy of deepening member relationships, improving processes, and enhancing products, services, and risk management.
