Dongfeng Motor Unveils New Initiatives at Global Summits to Boost New Energy Expansion

Shiyan: The 2026 Overseas Commercial Vehicle Partnership Summit recently took place in Shiyan, Hubei Province, where Dongfeng Motor launched its G Series high-end truck brand for international markets. This move is part of Dongfeng's strategy to integrate global supply chains and offer products with proven durability and cost efficiency. The G Series, equipped with advanced technologies, aims to deliver effective transportation solutions to customers worldwide. Company leadership highlighted Dongfeng's ongoing investment in new energy and intelligent technologies, including a hydrogen fuel cell heavy-duty truck capable of exceeding 800 kilometers on a single charge. The company is also focusing on expanding its commercial vehicle business globally by enhancing localized operations and strengthening its marketing system.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, shortly after the Shiyan summit, Dongfeng hosted the 2026 Passenger Vehicle Global Partnership Summit in Xiamen, Fujian Province, attended by partners from over 100 countries. This event saw the official launch and global shipment of 10,000 units of the DONGFENG VIGO, further diversifying the company's global product lineup. Dongfeng's brands, M-HERO and VOYAH, demonstrated their innovative technologies in new energy and intelligent mobility. The company plans to collaborate with partners to grow its international presence by developing a comprehensive overseas value chain that includes research and development, manufacturing, marketing, and services.
