DNA Test To Identify Remains Found In Teluk Intan House

Teluk intan: The authorities will be conducting a deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test to identify the person whose skeletal remains were found in an old wooden house on Jalan Sungai Nibong, Teluk Intan, on July 19.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Dr Bakri Zainal Abidin stated that this week, a forensic team collected samples from the victim’s siblings for comparison. “Police and the forensic team also went to the scene to search for related evidence. The victim was also found to have a record of dental treatment in April,” he said in a statement today.

Previously, Bakri mentioned that police discovered the human skeleton after receiving a report from a 78-year-old man who had alerted authorities to a foul smell at the location. He said initial investigations at the scene found a skull along with a dog and the victim’s personal belongings on the upper floor of the two-storey house.
