Johor Bahru: The MADANI Rakyat (PMR) 2025 Johor Programme is set to take place at the Toppen Shopping Centre, located 14 kilometres from the city centre, for three days from May 23 to 25. The event will feature more than 100 services currently offered by Federal and Johor state agencies.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, final preparations are in progress, with 24 booths ready to assist visitors with unfinished government business. Themed ‘Belia MADANI, Yakin Boleh!’, the programme is slated to be inaugurated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim at 3 pm tomorrow.

The initiative, organised by the Prime Minister’s Office through the Performance Surge Coordination Unit (PACU) and led by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) with Johor as the host, aims to deliver government services directly to the populace as part of the Malaysia MADANI framework.

In addition to government services, the event will feature the MADANI Rahmah Sale, offering discounts of 10 to 30 per cent on daily necessities. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with ministries and agencies on various topics and current issues. Additional attractions include the National Youth Day Celebration, sports competitions such as badminton, table tennis, netball, pickleball, chess, eSports (Mobile Legend), aerobicton, the People’s Comedy Festival, and the Viral Foods Sale.

The carnival will operate from 10 am to 9 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday. The event will also include corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities by government-linked companies (GLCs).
