Singapore: Digital Realty (NYSE: DLR), the world's largest cloud- and carrier-neutral data center platform, has announced the expansion of its Digital Realty Innovation Lab (DRIL) to Singapore and Japan. This development marks the first entry of the company's global DRIL network into the Asia Pacific region, building on the success of its inaugural facility launched in Northern Virginia in September 2025, which attracted over 120 visits from enterprise customers.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the new DRIL locations are set to provide Digital Realty's partners and customers with thoroughly supported, real-world testing environments. These facilities will enable clients to either bring their own workloads or utilize pre-configured infrastructure to validate AI and hybrid cloud deployments before progressing to live scaling. This initiative addresses the growing need for infrastructure readiness, a significant barrier to transitioning from AI experimentation to large-scale production.
