Diesel Supply Remains Stable, Government Focuses on Strengthening Enforcement

Kuala lumpur: The government has confirmed that the diesel supply remains stable, with ongoing efforts to enhance enforcement measures to prevent supply chain leakages amidst global uncertainties. Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Armizan Mohd Ali highlighted that although there have been reports of isolated disruptions, these are attributed to logistical challenges such as delivery delays to ports and depots, rather than a shortage of supply.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, these logistical issues are being addressed promptly. The public is encouraged to report any supply shortages at petrol stations through the official platforms of the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry (KPDN). Minister Armizan made these remarks following his participation in the 'Sentuhan Kasih' programme and the Rahmah MADANI Sales programme (PJRM) in Kampung Bratan.

Moreover, the government is committed to fortifying PJRM as an essential intervention mechanism to assist the public in managing the escalating cost of living. From January 1 to March 31 this year, 7,320 PJRM programmes were conducted nationwide, resulting in over 7.38 million transactions.
