Kuala lumpur: The retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia will see an increase of three sen, bringing it to RM2.99 per litre. However, in Sabah, Sarawak, and Labuan, diesel prices will remain steady at RM2.15 per litre for the period from February 12 to February 18.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Ministry of Finance announced that the prices of RON97 and RON95 petrol would remain unchanged at RM3.10 and RM2.54 per litre, respectively, for the same duration. Additionally, the price of subsidized RON95 petrol, under the BUDI95 initiative, will continue to be available at RM1.99 per litre.
The Ministry stated that the government will maintain its vigilance on global crude oil price trends and will implement necessary actions to ensure the protection of the people's welfare and well-being.
