Kuala Lumpur: Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Fadillah Yusof today spent time breaking fast with the staff of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) here. Fadillah, who is also the Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, arrived at the PETRA Tower around 6:30pm and was received by his deputy Akmal Nasrullah Mohd Nasir. Also present was the Chief Secretary of PETRA, Datuk Mad Zaidi Mohd Karli.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fadillah joined more than 50 ministry staff to listen to a Ramadan talk titled ‘Tired Here, Rest There’ delivered by Senior Assistant Director of the Department of Islamic Development, Mohd Salman Idrus. At the event, he presented cash donations and basic necessities to the Asyura Charity Care Centre as well as festive money from PETRA’s zakat representation to 36 orphans from the centre. Fadillah also performed the Maghrib prayers with the congregation led by Mohd Salman.
