Seattle: Denodo, a leader in data management, announced its Agora managed cloud service is now available on the Microsoft Marketplace, expanding access to its data management platform within Microsoft's cloud ecosystem.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Agora, a fully managed platform, integrates with Microsoft services including Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Power BI, and Azure Synapse Analytics, alongside partner services such as Azure OpenAI and Azure Databricks. Denodo executive vice president, Suresh Chandrasekaran, mentioned that availability on Microsoft Marketplace would provide customers with greater flexibility and scalability for artificial intelligence (AI) and data management use cases.
Meanwhile, Microsoft Corp general manager, Microsoft Azure Platform, Jake Zborowski, stated that Microsoft expects the collaboration to help enterprises accelerate agentic AI initiatives across hybrid, multi-cloud environments and data-sovereign environments.
Denodo explained that the platform is designed to help organizations support AI applications and agentic AI workflows by enabling access to enterprise data across more than 200 source systems, including on-premises systems, software as a service (SaaS) platforms, and multiple cloud environments.
According to the company, Agora complements Microsoft Fabric by providing a logical data access layer that connects AI agents to operational and analytical data outside Microsoft systems, including SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, and Snowflake. The platform also includes governance and compliance capabilities such as attribute-based access control, data lineage tracking, and policy enforcement, while integrating with Microsoft Entra ID for identity management.
