Kuala Lumpur: Delegates from UMNO Divisions, Wanita, Youth, and Puteri have begun to gather for the UMNO Divisional Delegates’ Meetings starting today until July 27.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, UMNO President and Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr. Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, in a Facebook post, urged party members to make this conference a platform to strengthen political communication, renew promises, and reinforce determination. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the three political approaches he had previously outlined: Politics of Solution, Politics of Legacy, and Politics of Moderation.

The Bagan Datuk Member of Parliament encouraged UMNO members to have a successful conference, stressing the necessity for the party to consistently amplify the voice of the people, empathize with the anxieties and aspirations of the youth, and maintain a robust stance as a forward-moving party in changing times. He highlighted that UMNO’s strength is rooted not only in its historical heritage but also in the unity and clarity of direction upheld by its members.

Dr. Ahmad Zahid expressed his belief that as long as the party’s struggle is carried out with sincerity and a pure spirit, UMNO will continue to flourish as a vessel of hope for the people and a pillar of stability and national progress. The UMNO Branch Conferences were previously held from April 7 to May 25, 2025, while the UMNO General Assembly is scheduled for August 20 to 23, 2025.
