Danish Iftikhar Muhammad Roslee Shines with Double Gold at Kuala Lumpur Super Series

Kuala Lumpur: Johor teenager Danish Iftikhar Muhammad Roslee completed a sensational sprint double by winning the men’s 200 metres race at the Kuala Lumpur Super Series Athletics Championships held at the Merdeka Stadium. The 18-year-old crossed the finish line in 21.81 seconds to secure the gold medal. Pahang State Sports Council’s Muhammad Rizal Mikhail Mohd Romzi finished with a time of 22.23 seconds to take silver, while Johor SUKMA’s Muhammad Airiel Iskandar Rusli claimed bronze with 22.40 seconds.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Danish explained that he eased his pace after the 150m mark to avoid any potential injuries, given the short recovery time following the semi-finals. He expressed satisfaction with his strategy, which allowed him to perform optimally despite the tight schedule.
