At the heart of the report is Curia’s new ‘C.U.R.I.A. Way’-curiosity, urgency, respect, integrity, and accountability-values that define its culture and guide its corporate responsibility efforts.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the report reflects Curia’s progress as an industry leader, highlighting efforts to reduce its environmental footprint while fostering a culture of safety, integrity, and responsibility. Curia’s chief executive officer, Philip Macnabb, emphasized the company’s ongoing commitment to intertwining ESG initiatives with scientific innovation and operational excellence.
In 2024, Curia committed to science-based greenhouse gas (GHG) reduction targets through the Science Based Target Initiative (SBTi) and joined the United Nations’ Race to Zero campaign, aiming to halve global emissions by 2030. The report also noted the achievement of safety milestones, with 85% of Curia facilities surpassing one year without a recordable injury and nine sites exceeding two years.
Additionally, several European facilities earned ISO certifications in quality, health, safety, and environmental management. Curia continues to prioritize employee development, with staff dedicating over 10,000 voluntary hours on its iLearn platform, powered by Skillsoft Percipio. The company’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE and I) Council is expanding initiatives to promote open dialogue and equitable advancement opportunities.
