Kuala lumpur: Croesus IT Holdings Bhd is bolstering its focus on plantation technology as a key growth segment for the company following its listing on the LEAP Market of Bursa Malaysia today. Managing director Richard Liau highlighted the importance of the plantation tech segment for expansion, particularly in Malaysia and Indonesia, where the company aims to integrate its digital solutions.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Croesus IT’s plantation solution combines SAP Business One as the backend system with its proprietary front-end modules, covering checkroll management, vehicle running analysis, block reporting, and other plantation-specific processes. Liau emphasized that the company intends to leverage the visibility gained from its listing to support regional expansion, especially in Singapore and Australia.
Liau noted that the objective of the listing is to enhance marketing efforts, aiming for global and regional growth. Croesus IT is also seeking to tap into Singapore’s upcoming e-invoicing requirements, utilizing experience from Malaysia’s multi-phase e-invoice rollout.
The listing exercise was conducted by way of an introduction, not a public offering, involving the listing of its entire issued share capital, which consists of 100 million ordinary shares priced at 12 sen per share, resulting in a market capitalization of RM12 million.
