Kuala lumpur: Cooperation and consensus among members of the Cabinet are contributing to Malaysia's political stability, stated Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. He emphasized that this harmony within the government has enabled the planning and implementation of the country's development agenda based on clear policies and a stable political environment.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Prime Minister Anwar highlighted the commendable performance of the government due to the clear policies and political stability achieved through effective cooperation within the Cabinet. Despite differing perspectives often seen on social media, he affirmed that the consensus among Cabinet members provides an indication of stability, allowing for strategic planning for the country's future.
Anwar urged the government to leverage the existing stability to continue planning and implementing policies that benefit the nation and its people. He cautioned against complacency, reminding all parties that achievements should inspire continued efforts to enhance governmental performance.
The Prime Minister also noted Malaysia's economic growth in the second quarter of 2026, which exceeded expectations despite challenges.
