Continuous Rain Warning Issued for Sarawak, Sabah, and Johor

Kuala Lumpur: The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has announced a continuous rain warning affecting three states, commencing this Thursday.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, MetMalaysia has predicted heavy rainfall for several regions in Sarawak, including Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, Sri Aman, Betong, Sarikei, Sibu, Mukah, Kapit (Song and Kapit), and Bintulu. This weather pattern is expected to persist from Thursday, January 16, to Saturday, January 18.

In Sabah, similar weather conditions are forecasted to impact areas such as the West Coast (Ranau and Kota Belud), Sandakan (Telupid, Kinabatangan, Beluran, and Sandakan), and Kudat from Thursday to Friday, January 17.

Additionally, continuous rain is anticipated in various parts of Johor, including Kluang, Mersing, Pontian, Kulai, Kota Tinggi, and Johor Bahru, from Friday to Sunday, January 19.
