Accra:Communications Minister Datuk Seri Fahmi Fadzil has urged the public to prioritize their mental health and seek assistance when feeling stressed or overwhelmed by daily life demands.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Fahmi emphasized that mental health should be given the same importance as physical health, particularly in managing the pressures of work, family, and everyday life. He conveyed this message in a Facebook post commemorating World Mental Health Day.
Fahmi advised those feeling overwhelmed or struggling to cope to speak with someone they trust and to seek help if necessary. He also reminded individuals that taking a break and allowing themselves some space is perfectly acceptable.
World Mental Health Day is celebrated annually on October 10 to promote awareness of mental health issues globally.
