Kuala lumpur: Bursa Malaysia Bhd is preparing for the resumption of all derivatives trading on December 1, adhering to normal market trading hours. This announcement follows the restoration of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) Group’s Globex electronic trading platform, which was completed by 9 pm Malaysian time.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Bursa Malaysia had previously indicated that trading of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ products on the Globex system would not continue today due to an outage affecting the platform, which is crucial for global derivatives trading. Despite the disruption, the settlement of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives’ contracts proceeded as usual throughout the day.
