Kuala lumpur: Most states in Malaysia will experience clear skies throughout Aidilfitri, from March 20 to 22, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, almost all areas are expected to have sunny weather on the morning of March 20, except for Perak and Tawau, Sabah. However, in the afternoon and night, rain or thunderstorms are forecasted in several areas, including Perak, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Negeri Sembilan, Johor, and Pahang. Additionally, similar weather conditions are expected along the West Coast and Interior of Sabah, as well as in the divisions of Kapit, Miri, and Limbang in Sarawak.
On March 21, rain is anticipated in Perak in the morning, while thunderstorms and rain are predicted in the afternoon for Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, and the Sarawak divisions of Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, and Sri Aman. Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, Johor, and Tawau, Sabah, may experience rain at night.
For March 22, the forecast includes thunderstorms and rain for the afternoon in Sabah's West Coast and Sandakan, along with the Sarawak divisions of Kuching, Serian, Samarahan, and Sri Aman.
The department has also predicted hot weather and a lack of rain in most of Peninsular Malaysia, particularly in the northern region and interior areas, until the end of March. Short thunderstorms may occur, especially in the west of the Peninsula, during late afternoons and early evening based on weather forecast model analysis.
