Putrajaya:The Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 enlivened the streets with the 'Konvoi Eksklusif Lamborghini 2026', featuring a convoy of 100 Lamborghinis, in collaboration with Lamborghini Owners Malaysia (LOM).
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Lamborghini convoy was a key highlight of the broader Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026, an event organized as part of the Visit Malaysia 2026-2027 (VM2026-2027) campaign. The convoy began its journey from IOI City Mall, Putrajaya, and traveled to the Sepang International Circuit (SIC), where the cars were showcased in an open-air exhibition for the public, motorsport enthusiasts, and international visitors.
The event was officiated by Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim, political secretary to the Finance Minister, alongside Datuk Shaharuddin Abu Sohot, secretary-general of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. With themes of 'Art, Culture, Speed, Together' and 'Malaysia Moves Together', the festival aims to blend motoring culture with entertainment and tourism promotion, establishing Malaysia as a dynamic travel destination.
The festival is expected to boost international travel during the VM2026-2027 period, complementing the existing influx of 28.8 million international travelers recorded between January and August 2026, a 1.8 percent increase from the previous year.
Additionally, the Citrawarna Speed Festival 2026 is set to enhance public-private partnerships, fostering economic benefits for the hospitality, food and beverage, and retail sectors in Putrajaya and Sepang. This initiative further solidifies the tourism sector's role as a crucial driver of Malaysia's economic growth.
