Citaglobal Secures RM82.72 Million in Construction Contracts

Johor bahru: Citaglobal Bhd’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Citaglobal Land Sdn Bhd, has accepted two construction contracts from UDA Land (South) Sdn Bhd and the Public Works Department (JKR) totaling RM82.72 million.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, a filing with Bursa Malaysia revealed that the contract from UDA Land, valued at approximately RM62.42 million, is designated for main infrastructure works. These include earthworks, roadworks, electrical infrastructure, main sewerage system, main water reticulation system, and related tasks in UDA Enclave (Zone B), Bandar UDA Utama in Johor Bahru.

Meanwhile, the JKR contract, worth about RM20.30 million, involves the Labuan Jetty Upgrading Project, with a completion timeline of 120 weeks from the date of site possession, targeting an April 2028 finish. Citaglobal stated that these contracts will enhance the company’s order book to around RM1.8 billion, considering the group’s outstanding order book of RM1.1 billion as of September 2025.

The company noted that the contracts will not impact the issued share capital and substantial shareholders’ shareholdings but are projected to positively affect the group’s earnings, earnings per share, and net assets during the contracts’ duration.

Citaglobal executive chairman and president Tan Sri Mohamad Norza Zakaria remarked that these projects underscore the trust placed in Citaglobal to deliver vital infrastructure that supports communities and economic activity. He emphasized the company’s commitment to responsibly delivering work across transport, water, urban development, and renewable energy, while building a resilient infrastructure platform for the long term.
