CIMB Channels RM2.22 Million to Support 45,000 Beneficiaries in Malaysia’s Harapan Ramadan Programme

Kuala lumpur: CIMB Islamic Bank Berhad and CIMB Foundation have pledged over RM2.22 million to their annual Harapan Ramadan programme, which is aimed at socio-economic empowerment for more than 45,000 beneficiaries from underserved communities across Malaysia.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this year's programme represents a strategic shift towards bolstering local economies by incorporating small business owners directly into the programme's value chain. The bank has partnered with 100 neighbourhood general stores located near distribution areas nationwide to supply food box items. This initiative is designed to support small businesses while strengthening local supply chains in the communities served.
