Kuala lumpur: The Chinese Embassy today donated RM100,000 to the Federal Territories Islamic Religious Department (JAWI) Musa’adah Fund, marking a significant contribution to humanitarian causes. This latest donation brings the total assistance provided by the embassy to RM800,000 since 2020.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Religious Affairs), Datuk Dr Mohd Na’im Mokhtar, highlighted the importance of these contributions in a post on X. He emphasized that such humanitarian efforts transcend boundaries, showcasing the embassy’s ongoing support for various groups in need, including asnaf individuals, single mothers, persons with disabilities, the homeless, and B40 families.
Dr Mohd Na’im noted that each contribution is impactful, symbolizing essential resources like food and hope for those affected by hardships such as floods. He expressed gratitude to the Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia, Ouyang Yujing, for the embassy’s consistent support and hoped for the continued strengthening of this partnership, reflecting a mutual commitment to humanitarian efforts.
