China and Central Asia Forge Historic Treaty at Astana Summit

Astana: In a historic first, the China-Central Asia Summit was hosted in a Central Asian country, as leaders of China and five Central Asian nations gathered on Tuesday in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, for the summit’s second edition.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the six countries marked the occasion by signing the Treaty of Permanent Good-Neighborliness and Friendly Cooperation. This new landmark agreement signifies a commitment to enhancing cooperation and fostering peaceful relations among the participating nations. The treaty is expected to pave the way for strengthened diplomatic and economic ties in the region.
