Kuala Lumpur: Care Latex Sdn Bhd has partnered with Kossan Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd, the investment arm of one of the world’s largest manufacturers of gloves and rubber products, to expand in the global wellness market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Care Latex stated that the partnership positions Kossan Holdings as its third-largest investor, thereby strengthening the brand’s strategic foundation and supporting its long-term growth ambitions in the global personal wellness market.

The collaboration aims to enhance Care Latex’s ecosystem by accelerating product innovation, improving inventory management, expanding research and development capabilities, and broadening market reach through new distribution channels. Beyond market expansion, the partnership aligns with their commitment to public health, particularly in addressing the urgent issue of human immunodeficiency virus prevention among Southeast Asian youth.

Care Latex founder Bonn Lam Chee Fong highlighted that with Malaysia ranking as the sixth-largest producer of natural latex, the company leverages local strengths by accelerating its research and development pipeline to launch more innovations.

Care Latex, a Malaysian condom brand with a retail presence in Singapore and South Korea, distributed through major convenience store chains such as Olive Young and GS25, is eyeing future expansion in global markets, including Singapore, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Macau, New Zealand, and the United States.
