Bursa: Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on Monday and Tuesday (March 31 and April 1) in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri public holiday, subject to the official announcement by the Keeper of the Rulers’ Seal.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the stock exchange operator stated that both securities and derivatives markets will resume operations on Wednesday (April 2) if the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on March 31 and the second day falls on April 1. The operator also mentioned that if the first day of Hari Raya Aidilfitri falls on April 1 (Tuesday) and the second day on April 2 (Wednesday), Bursa Malaysia and its subsidiaries will be closed on April 1 and 2 and will resume operations on April 3 (Thursday).
The exchange operator noted that both securities and derivatives markets will operate under normal trading hours on March 31 (Monday). However, it was highlighted that there will be no T+1 Night Trading session for the derivatives market on that date. Despite the closure, Bursa Gold Dinar primary marketplace and Bursa Suq Al-Sila’ will remain open for trading during the public holiday.
