Kuala Lumpur:The Bumiputera Agenda Steering Unit (TERAJU), now under the Prime Minister's Department, engaged in discussions with Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim regarding its priorities for enhancing bumiputera economic development.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, TERAJU presented the progress of the Bumiputera Economic Transformation Plan 2035 (PuTERA35) to the Prime Minister, as part of a meeting to discuss its role and strategic direction after transitioning from the Economy Ministry.
Led by CEO Junady Nawawi, TERAJU emphasized its commitment to implementing strategic directions effectively. The focus will be on strengthening business capabilities, expanding economic opportunities, and increasing Bumiputera participation in high-value sectors.
Finance Minister II Datuk Seri Amir Hamzah Azizan and Treasury secretary-general Tan Sri Johan Mahmood Merican were also present at the meeting.
