Kuala lumpur: The investigation into the attack on the son of Pandan Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli has been handed over to the Bukit Aman Criminal Investigation Department, as stated by Selangor police chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the case has been transferred to the federal police to enable a more comprehensive and centralized investigation. The authorities are calling on members of the public who have any information related to this case to report it to the nearest police station to aid the investigation. The police emphasized the importance of community cooperation to ensure justice and transparency are upheld throughout the investigation process.
The incident, which occurred last Wednesday, involved the attack on Rafizi’s son at around 2 pm in the pick-up and drop-off area of a shopping mall in Putrajaya. Rafizi, a former deputy president of PKR, claimed that the attack was carried out by two men dressed in black and wearing helmets. The assailants, who were on a motorcycle, reportedly dragged Rafizi’s son and pricked him with a syringe.
