Kuantan:The body of an unidentified woman was discovered entangled in a fishing net buoy line in Sungai Kuantan near Jalan Besar earlier today.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Kuantan police chief ACP Ashari Abu Samah stated that the police were alerted to the incident by the public at 12.38 pm. Upon initial examination, the woman, believed to be in her 30s, was found wearing a red shirt and white shorts with black patterns.
Further investigation revealed bloody scratch marks on the woman's forehead, but no other injuries that would suggest foul play were detected. The body has been transported to Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The case is currently classified as a sudden death.
