Putrajaya: The body of a 17-year-old boy was found floating in Putrajaya Lake this morning.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the discovery was made by members of the public at 7:50 am. Putrajaya police chief ACP Aidi Sham Mohamed stated that a witness, who was passing by, took immediate action by swimming to the body and pulling it to the bank.

Initial investigations conducted by the police found no criminal elements involved, leading to the case being classified as a sudden death. The body has been sent to the Putrajaya Hospital Pathology Division for a post-mortem to determine the cause of death.
