BN Continues To Champion Interests Of The People Of Sabah – Zambry

Kota kinabalu: Barisan Nasional (BN) will continue to champion the interests of the people of Sabah for the sake of stability and ongoing development in the state and country, said BN Secretary-General Datuk Seri Zambry Abd Kadir. Zambry, who is also the Minister of Higher Education, stated that this principle remains central to the BN’s struggle as it prepares for the upcoming 17th Sabah State Election (PRN).

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Zambry emphasized the importance of preserving and defending stability as fundamental for every state and country. He made these remarks after the BN Supreme Council Meeting at the Sabah UMNO State Headquarters. The meeting, chaired by BN Chairman Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Deputy Prime Minister, focused on final preparations for the 17th Sabah state election. Discussions included cooperation with Pakatan Harapan (PH) and the finalization of seat distribution.

Zambry announced that the launch of the BN election machinery for the Sabah polls will occur tomorrow at 2.30 pm at a hotel in the city, symbolizing BN’s readiness to enter the campaign phase. He also mentioned that the central BN leadership has granted the Sabah BN leadership autonomy to announce the candidates for this election.

The announcement of the party’s candidates is expected to be made at noon tomorrow by Sabah UMNO chairman Datuk Seri Bung Moktar Radin, as indicated in a media invitation from UMNO.
