Bioalpha Expands Global Reach With Halal-Certified OEM, ODM And CDMO Services

Kuala lumpur: Bioalpha Holdings Bhd's core business remains firmly rooted in providing professional original equipment manufacturer (OEM), original design manufacturer (ODM) and contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) services to global clients.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the health product manufacturer has established its own cultivation and procurement systems for core herbs, including misai kucing, tongkat ali, and soursop, enabling strict quality control from the source.

"All Bioalpha manufacturing facilities adhere to halal-certified standards, ensuring internationally recognised production quality while facilitating seamless entry into diverse global markets. As a publicly listed company, Bioalpha also upholds financial transparency and long-term credibility for its partners," it said.

Bioalpha stated that its misai kucing operation exemplifies the strength of its integrated model. It began standardised cultivation in 2012 and started exporting internationally in 2018.

"Today, 100 per cent of its misai kucing is self-cultivated and fully certified under Malaysian Good Agricultural Practices (MYGAP). It maintains dedicated cultivation bases of approximately 12.1406 hectares in Pasir Raja and 28.328 hectares in Desaru, ensuring a stable, traceable, and high-quality supply of raw materials," it said.

Bioalpha's current misai kuching annual export volume is approximately 10 tonnes, with capacity projected to reach 20 tonnes within the next two years to meet growing international demand. The Korean market has emerged as a key growth driver, with the company establishing a direct partnership with a leading Korean brand owner under a non-disclosure agreement, serving as its core supplier for both raw materials and finished products.
