Cyberjaya: Binastra Corp Bhd’s (Binastra) wholly-owned subsidiary, Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM250.37 million data centre construction project in Cyberjaya, Selangor from MYT DC3 Sdn Bhd. The contract is set to start on February 26, 2025, with completion in phases between June 15, 2025, and December 15, 2025. This project is anticipated to generate an additional income stream for Binastra during the financial year.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Binastra Corp stated that the construction of the six-storey data centre for AIMS Group marks its first achievement for the financial year ending January 31, 2026 (FY2026). AIMS Group is known as an ecosystem-centric, carrier-neutral data centre provider in Southeast Asia.

Binastra Group managing director Datuk Jackson Tan Kak Seng noted that the new data centre project increases the group’s total secured data centre contracts value to RM1.24 billion. He highlighted that their projects remain stable despite ongoing discussions about the impact of a
rtificial intelligence chip availability on local data centres. The continuous stream of projects demonstrates Binastra’s ability to address the changing needs of the Klang Valley market, combining technical expertise with a focus on energy-efficient, sustainable solutions.
