Kuala lumpur: Berjaya Sompo Insurance (Berjaya Sompo) has proudly announced its title sponsorship of the Berjaya Sompo Yamaha R15M Race Elites for the 2025 and 2026 racing seasons. This strategic move underscores the company’s dedication to fostering young racing talent and promoting motorcycle riding safety.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the sponsorship was unveiled during Round 1 of the 2025 AEON Credit MAM Malaysia Superbike Championship (MSBK) on May 9. The R15M Race Elites class, developed in collaboration with Hong Leong Yamaha Motor Sdn Bhd (HLYM), provides a crucial platform for young riders to transition from underbone bikes to more advanced models. Competitors in this class race on Yamaha R15M 155cc motorcycles, which have been expertly modified to meet full race specifications.

This initiative is part of Berjaya Sompo’s broader efforts to cultivate a culture of responsible racing and enhance awareness about road safety. By supporting this program, Berjaya Sompo aims to equip emerging talents with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in the racing world while emphasizing the importance of safety in motorcycle sports.
