According to BERNAMA News Agency, Malaysia and Tanzania are expected to advance from Group A in the women’s category. In Group B, Sri Lanka is anticipated to dominate after being drawn with Kenya, England, and Argentina. Group C promises intriguing matchups as India and Pakistan find themselves competing against Hong Kong and the Netherlands.
In the men’s category, Malaysia’s team appears to have a promising path to the knockout stages, being drawn with Hong Kong, Burundi, and Azerbaijan in Group B. Tournament favourites India are set in Group C, which includes Kenya, Argentina, Nepal, and the Philippines. Pakistan finds itself in Group A with Tanzania, the United States, Hungary, and Afghanistan. Group D comprises Sri Lanka, England, Canada, Sierra Leone, and China.
