Auntea Jenny Recognized by ASIA Records for 90 Million Cups of Mango Pomelo Sago Sold

Kuala lumpur: Fresh fruit tea chain, Auntea Jenny, has received recognition from the ASIA Records after its signature drink Mango Pomelo Sago recorded sales of nearly 90 million cups last year across four countries. Auntea Jenny Malaysia General Manager Ng Ching Wai described the recognition as a proud milestone for the company, saying it reflected growing consumer acceptance of the beverage internationally.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Ng stated that the success of Mango Pomelo Sago is attributed to its combination of real fruit quality and a taste that resonates across Asia, connecting with the shared dessert culture and everyday enjoyment. He made these remarks following the plaque presentation ceremony and the launch of the brand's halal certification.

Present at the event were several notable figures, including Senior Principal Assistant Director at the Halal Management Division, Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) Iszam Padil, Director of ASIA Records Gillian Ooi, Muar Member of Parliament Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, and singer and actress Bella Astillah, who served as 'One-Day Store Manager.'

Ng revealed that the company had submitted its sales data to ASIA Records, which then conducted a verification process to confirm the achievement. The figures indicate that approximately 300,000 cups of Mango Pomelo Sago were sold daily last year, with contributions from outlets in China, the United States, South Korea, and Malaysia.

Moreover, Ng mentioned the company's aggressive expansion plans, aiming to enter six additional countries this year, including Thailand, Australia, Germany, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom. He emphasized that the halal certification is crucial for strengthening consumer trust and inclusivity, particularly as Malaysia acts as a gateway to the ASEAN market.

Ng explained that the halal certification process, which took nearly six months, currently applies to 12 outlets in Malaysia, spanning locations in the Klang Valley, Johor, Penang, Pahang, Perak, and Melaka. The company currently operates about 50 outlets nationwide and aims to increase this number to 100 by the end of the year.

In addition to expansion, Ng announced the introduction of a new kale-based beverage line on May 20, focusing on promoting healthier drink options with less sugar and more natural ingredients. He affirmed the brand's mission of delivering "True Fruits, True Tea, True Quality," emphasizing the responsibility for freshness, authenticity, and customer experience in every cup served.
