Accra:Ascott Malaysia is set to transform and rebrand three Bayview hotels located in Penang and Langkawi. The transformation involves the Bayview Beach Resort Penang, which will be rebranded as Ascott Batu Ferringhi Penang Resort, Bayview Hotel Georgetown as Oakwood Georgetown Penang, and Bayview Hotel Langkawi as Fox Hotel Langkawi.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, this initiative is supported by an estimated reinvestment of approximately RM210 million. The project is aimed at creating distinct hospitality experiences and is planned to be completed with a phased reopening starting from early 2028.

The rebranding strategy will encompass a total of 989 rooms across the three properties, reflecting Ascott Malaysia's focus on tailoring the brands to align with the unique characteristics and needs of their respective locations and guests.
