Kuala lumpur: AscentHR, a provider of human resources technology, payroll, compliance, and workforce solutions, has acquired OS HRS, a payroll outsourcing provider focused on the Asia Pacific (APAC) region. This strategic acquisition aims to strengthen AscentHR's payroll leadership across the APAC market.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the acquisition was completed through a single-stage transaction, wherein AscentHR acquired 100 percent of the equity share capital of OS-HRS Malaysia, OS-HRS Japan, and OS-HRS India from BREXA Inc. This acquisition marks a significant step for AscentHR in enhancing its regional payroll capabilities.

The integration of OS HRS's regional expertise and strong customer relationships positions AscentHR to deliver expanded capabilities and enhanced regional reach. Subramanyam Sreenivasaiah, AscentHR's Founder and Chief Executive Officer, expressed confidence in the merger, stating that the combined organization will offer greater value to customers across the APAC region.

The acquisition bolsters AscentHR's presence in key markets such as India, Japan, China, Malaysia, Korea, and Singapore, enhancing its payroll delivery capabilities and compliance expertise. The unified regional delivery model aims to support multinational enterprises in managing payroll, compliance, and workforce administration more effectively.

The integration process will be carried out in phases to ensure a seamless transition for customers, employees, and partners, while also paving the way for new opportunities in innovation and regional growth.
