Kuala Lumpur: Applications for the 2025 Yang di-Pertuan Agong Scholarship (BYDPA) are now open from Feb 3 to 28. The prestigious scholarship is aimed at full-time master’s and doctor of philosophy students who are enrolled in local and international universities. The scholarship supports students specializing in strategic disciplines contributing to national development.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Public Service Department (JPA) has stated that eligible fields for the scholarship include science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM), economics, law, Islamic finance, and artificial intelligence (AI). The department emphasizes that applicants must show strong potential to become leaders in academic and professional sectors.

The JPA highlighted that priority will be given to those who excel both academically and non-academically, and who possess notable leadership skills.
