Applications For Polytechnic Bachelor’s Degree Programmes Open Until July 3

Taipei: The Polytechnic and Community College Education Department (JPPKK) has opened applications for admission into Polytechnic Bachelor's Degree programmes for Academic Session I 2026/2027 from today until July 3.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, JPPKK announced that 12 bachelor's degree programmes are being offered for the upcoming session, spanning several polytechnics nationwide. Prospective students can submit their applications via the website http://ambilan.mypolycc.edu.my without the need to purchase a PIN number.

JPPKK specified that applications are open to a range of candidates, including polytechnic diploma and advanced diploma graduates, final-semester polytechnic diploma students who have completed industrial training for Session II 2025/2026, and community college diploma graduates in similar circumstances. The eligibility extends to graduates from polytechnic TVET foundation programmes, university foundation programmes in science, physical science, or engineering, as well as those from Ministry of Education matriculation colleges in science or engineering streams. Additionally, diploma holders in engineering, engineering technology, or technology from both public and private higher education institutions are qualified to apply.

Candidates holding Sijil Tinggi Persekolahan Malaysia (STPM), Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM), and APEL.A T-6 certificates are also eligible. JPPKK stated that the status for interview calls will be available beginning July 14, with interview sessions scheduled from July 20 to 25.

The department announced that admission offers will be made public on August 21, with student registration slated for September 21. Among the programmes offered at Ungku Omar Polytechnic are Bachelor of Civil Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Supply Chain Management), Computer Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Marine Engineering Technology, and Architecture Technology.

The Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering Technology (Automotive Design) programme is available at Sultan Azlan Shah Polytechnic, while Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Polytechnic offers Bachelor of Medical Electronics Engineering Technology and Bachelor of Facility Management Technology. Meanwhile, Ibrahim Sultan Polytechnic provides courses in Bachelor of New Media Design and Bachelor of Tourism and Hospitality Management Science.
