Kuala Lumpur: The spirit of compassion, which consistently emphasises the importance of loving, respecting, and appreciating fellow citizens and the nation, must continue to be upheld in driving the country’s development together, said Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. In a post on his Facebook today, the Prime Minister highlighted the need for harmony and unity to be prioritized in order to build the stability of the nation’s administration.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, the Prime Minister stressed that this approach aligns with the MADANI concept, which encourages cooperation in achieving the country’s development and progress agenda, both for today and the future. By fostering a spirit of cooperation, the nation can work towards a more stable and progressive future.
In his message, the Prime Minister also extended Federal Territories Day greetings to all the residents of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan. He expressed hope that unity and togetherness will continue to endure, with divine blessings.
Federal Territories Day, celebrated on February 1 each year, commemorates the declaration of Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya, and Labuan as Federal Territories. This year marks the 21st celebration of the event, highlighting the ongoing significance of these regions in the nation’s framework.
