Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the importance of enhanced coordination among those involved in Bumiputera entrepreneur development initiatives. This coordination is deemed crucial to ensure that all efforts are focused, complementary, and effectively leverage the strengths of each party involved.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar shared these insights in a Facebook post following a courtesy call from the president of the Malay Traders and Entrepreneurs Association (PERDASAMA), Mohd Azamanizam Baharon, and his delegation. During this meeting, Anwar highlighted the significance of the government’s commitment to the Bumiputera development agenda, urging all associations, including PERDASAMA, to understand and adopt this commitment.
The Prime Minister welcomed the initiatives proposed by PERDASAMA, expressing confidence that strategic collaboration would significantly strengthen the Bumiputera business ecosystem. This collaboration is expected to expand economic opportunities across the country. Anwar acknowledged PERDASAMA’s role in representing 27,263 Bumiputera companies, noting its contribution in harnessing the energy, expertise, and networks among its members.
