Kuala lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has pledged to continue working tirelessly to elevate Malaysia's standing as a model country in the region through an administration built on integrity and service to the people. He emphasized the government's commitment to improving governance despite facing various challenges and unresolved issues, aiming for the well-being of the people.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar expressed his dedication at the Grand Finale Jelajah Kekal Harapan program, acknowledging his age but highlighting his youthful drive and determination. He conveyed a desire for Negeri Sembilan and Malaysia to set examples for the region while admitting that more work is needed. Anwar apologized for any shortcomings and stressed the importance of good governance.

Anwar stated that an administration's success is measured not by claims of problem-solving but by the commitment to honesty and transparency. He cited ongoing challenges in Negeri Sembilan under Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun, including unfinished housing projects and the welfare of marginalized communities, as areas needing attention.

As Pakatan Harapan (PH) chairman, Anwar reiterated the current government's sincere and tireless efforts, emphasizing a leadership that does not abuse power or exploit resources. He highlighted his own rigorous work schedule and assured the public of his integrity, inviting criticism but defending his non-arrogant stance.

Anwar also urged voters in Negeri Sembilan to support Aminuddin and PH in the upcoming state election, acknowledging Aminuddin's weaknesses but commending his clean and hardworking nature. He emphasized the development of Negeri Sembilan and its significance in strengthening the Federal Government.

A total of 867,151 ordinary voters are expected to cast their ballots this Saturday to elect representatives for the 36 state seats, with 103 candidates competing for the constituencies.
