Kuala lumpur: The performance of the MADANI Government under the leadership of Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has received recognition in terms of investment, the economy, and strengthening the currency, according to an aide to the Prime Minister. The Prime Minister's political secretary, Datuk Azman Abidin, highlighted these achievements as evidence of Anwar's capability to lead the government effectively and a strong basis for citizens to support him for a second term.

According to BERNAMA News Agency, Azman made these remarks while officiating the STEM Exploration 2.0 'Unearthing Young Scientific Talent' programme at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). He was responding to political analysts' views that the MADANI Government had shown strong performance and should be allowed to continue its reform agenda.

Azman assured that the government would persist in its efforts to ensure the benefits of its initiatives are felt across society. He mentioned upcoming initiatives and announcements by the Prime Minister ahead of National Day and Malaysia Day, as well as the tabling of Budget 2027.

During his speech at the event, Azman emphasized the importance of the STEM programme in fostering students' interest in science and medicine. He noted that the programme, now in its second edition, involves 200 Form Three students from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, and Negeri Sembilan and should be expanded nationwide.

Azman urged that STEM education should become essential for the nation's progress amidst global technological challenges. He encouraged students to use the programme as a stepping stone to pursue knowledge and aspire to significant achievements.

The STEM Exploration 2.0 programme featured various activities, including experiments, microbiology activities, and demonstrations of 3D printing technology in medicine.
