Kuala Lipis:Kuala Lumpur Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has extended his prayers for the Rantau Panjang MP, Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff, wishing her a swift recovery after she was injured in a road accident.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar expressed his hope on Facebook that Siti Zailah would quickly regain her strength to continue her duties. He stated, "Praying for the speedy recovery of Rantau Panjang Member of Parliament YB Siti Zailah. I hope YB will remain strong and regain her strength soon to continue serving the people."
Siti Zailah suffered injuries to her chest and abdomen in an accident that occurred at KM7 of the Central Spine Road (LTU) in Kechau Tui, Kuala Lipis. The incident took place around 6 pm as she and her 26-year-old daughter were traveling in a sports utility vehicle (SUV) from Gua Musang, Kelantan, to Kuala Lumpur for work-related purposes.
