Kuala Lumpur: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim yesterday engaged in discussions with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto. In a Facebook post today, Anwar shared that the telephone conversation focused on the necessity for both nations to enhance cooperation across multiple fields.
According to BERNAMA News Agency, Anwar emphasized the mutual belief held by both leaders that the close relationship between Malaysia and Indonesia has the potential to benefit all citizens. The dialogue also touched upon preparations for the 2025 ASEAN Summit, which is scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur later this month.
Furthermore, President Prabowo extended an invitation to Prime Minister Anwar for an official visit to Jakarta in the near future, as stated by the Prime Minister.
